Californians think this is photoshopped, as 93 octane doesn't really exist and its almost free.

 

Yep, it's $5.69 for regular 87 at my local Chevron here in the SF bay area. I'd be happy to have that 93 for $4.69.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whoops, spoke too soon.Yesterday they raised their prices another 30 cents(in one day); now at $5.99 for regular!

 

'Twas $5.80 for 93 when I drove past the gas station this morning.

On Friday last, I'd hesitated before filling up at $5.20, thinking maybe that was just a temporary spike, but did it anyway.

 

If our president is to be believed and the rise in gas prices right now is due to our comrade from the red empire. Then why is E85 up to $4.50 a gallon too? Are we buying corn from Russia?

This bridge is going to be huge!

 

 

E85 is still 15% gasoline.
Plus, they probably still use diesel to manufacture and transport it. Granted, Russia is not the only reason, but they're a big part considering they supply about 1/4 the global oil. And it's the crappy stuff that we like to refine. We export our shale since we don't have the capacity to refine it.

 

Correction..
Gas is now over 20 TL/liter over here...Just over 200% increase in less than a year.

I do not see the need to translate the editorial cartoon on recent gas price hikes in Turkey. I am sure you will figure it out.
