I want you to know that I laughed sufficiently hard at this that I actually became conscious of the fact that I have spontaneously perforated a lung in the past (the one on the right, if you're curious), and this seemed like the sort of thing which was likely to cause a recurrence of such event.

Normally, I'm up for that kind of thing, as it opens door to interesting romantic consequences. But with the whole covid situation happening, I assume that the likelihood of my hooking up with yet another hot nurse and subsequently going on the adventure of a lifetime is reduced.

So, let's keep the spontaneous pneumothorax counter down until after this present madness is over, ok?

On the UVB-76 thing, this is just utterly hilarious. Granted, I don't speak or read Russian or Ukranian, but if I'm reading the tea leaves correctly, we're currently watching a Ukrainian guy / group actively overpowering a Soviet-era military radio installation, in real time.

And that's just cool as hell.

(Minus points for the fact that the station being targeted may be a part of the Dead Hand second-strike retaliatory system. Because I'm really not in the mood to die of total nuclear annihilation just at the moment.)

Interestingly, I was watching a documentary this evening which I can best describe as being about DeLorean (both the man and the company), Back to the Future (both the movie and the creative minds behind it), and hardcore nerd-tech surrounding the use of a DeLorean DMC-12 (the car) in the movie.



Obviously, there was some mention of Knight Rider, owing to the overlap of technical talent involved in the production of both sets of vehicles.
