People die in strange ways. My sister's lungs came out of a fellow working at a high-rise construction site. Some fool ten stores up dropped a concrete anchor (a long, thick bolt.) Hit the hardhat dead-center, and went straight down through his head. One in a million shot. Everything below the neck was 100% perfect- the heart even kept beating right up until they disconnected the plumbing.
Then there's them what decide to run into a wall at 150 MPH...

That bike weighs 400+ pounds, if he hits a car going 100mph faster then the vehicle he hits, the bike would go into the car, and even if the vehicle is a truck, the rider would be ejected off the bike and could go into the cab of the truck and potentially kill an occupant.

rider was traveling at approximately 85 mph. The VW driver was talking on a cell phone when she pulled out from a side street, apparently not seeing the motorcycle. The riders reaction time was not sufficient enough to avoid this accident. The car had two passengers and the bike rider was found INSIDE the car with them. The Volkswagen actually flipped over from the force of impact and landed 20 feet from where the collision took place. All three involved (two in the car and the bike rider) were killed instantly.

To be honest, it is for that reason alone that I kind of said to myself "well, it's probably for the best" when he croaked. I don't mean to sound harsh, but at least this way they can't keep rolling him out in front of the camera ever year for his annual self-inflicted humiliation.
