So we write it 12/11/13.

We don't speak in fancy english and say: The eleventh day of December in the year of our Lord Two-thousand thirteen.

I do engineering drawings. To avoid confusion, I use the military date designation because we have divisions in the US and all over the world. Todays date would be 12DEC2013. No possibility of mixing it up unless you can't read.

If I had my way, everyone would write 13/12/11. You guys better hope I never get my way.

Why do you say it's fake? My old roommate is a helicopter pilot and he's shown me videos of some of the crazy shit they do. Those people are not sane.
