Very interesting stuff there, Six.

I'm sure that alot of people have probably already seen these, but as someone who doesn't have television, they were all new to me. The folks at Translation have out-done themselves.

I just got a big ol' freedom boner. We need more Don Frye in this world.

Engineer Jeff Keacher from Colorado used an early web browser called MacWeb 2.0 to run basic versions of Wikipedia and Hacker News on his 1986 Mac Plus, pictured. Pages took 'minutes' to load, but Keacher was able to access the sites through a proxy server

Have you guys seen this? Just your average Bluegrass band from Wales, doing covers of Top 40 songs. In this case it's "Royals", which frankly I despise, but there's something really catchy and endearing about these British kids.. They're called The Beef Seeds. Their cover of Wrecking Ball by Miley Cyrus is pretty epic too.

That is absolutely stunning.

I used to work with a Welshman, and if you were to ask me "Who do you suppose is least likely to ever be able to do a convincing American south-east accent?" I'd have answered "Anyone from Wales."

I have absolutely nothing worthwhile to follow that with, so here is a video of two ducks having sex:

The guy in the green almost has the accent down. The only problem is he sounds like someone who can't decide if they're from Louisiana or Tennessee.

Not a southern accent, but still a perfect American accent. I guess she had a little more practice. Start at 2:11.

I look forward to checking it out. I'm a fan of creative covers and arrangements of popular songs and contemporary bluegrass. For something along similar lines, check out Carolina Chocolate Drops. They did a cover of Blu Cantrell's "Hit 'em Up Style" that's very catchy.

Another one I dig is Devil Makes Three.

Reminds me of a band called Iron Horse, which is best known for their Fade to Bluegrass covers of Metallica.

Another *REALLY* good one is Cornbread Red, with Green Day, Blue Grass. Here's Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

The whole save rock and roll thing while sounding like Maroon 5 and nothing like a rock band is ironic.
