And, WTF do these taillights transitioning to vents remind you of. I can't place it and its driving me nuts.

I personally think the FT-1 is one of the best integrations of an "LMP/F1" style nose to date. I'm not sure it's a great look, but the concept looks pretty good to me from most angles.

 

If I've learned only one thing about the customization of cars / motorcycles, it's that a certain set of people exist to whom it matters not that a thing may sound like ****, handle like a sack of dead rhinoceroses, or be otherwise generally unfit to perform the task for which its designers originally intended. It matters only that it look "rad." (or dope, or sick, or ill, or whatever word used to mean "bad" that now means "good.")

 

I kind of like the FT-1. At first, it sort of looked like this to me.

I agree. The rear as a whole did make me think new Vette when I first saw it, but the taillights and vents look like something else. I thought it was a high-end production car, but now I'm thinking a concept car or a one-off race car or something. Maybe its a fictional car from GTAV. I haven't searched those yet.
