F me if Caldera Ashland Amber isn't going to be the beer I call "my favorite" when people ask. It might not be the one I want every time, but it sure is good.

I see that the Lagunitas Cappuccino Stouts are back in the stores again. YUM!

My buddy just toured the brewery last weekend and picked up a couple cases of under filled cans for extremely cheap. He dropped off a case of their IPA as a happy Monday present.

I love Caldera, being relatively close to them, most local restaurants have them on tap.

I'm not usually a fan of Lagunitas but this is surprisingly tasty. Sadly yes, that is my office desk. The 9.2% helps dull the "I'm going to be stuck here till 9pm on a Friday night" pain.
Damn you! That's what I WOULD be drinking, but they locked the board room (read:bar) on me. There is a shiny new bottle of Tanqueray #10 in there with my name on it.

I could definitely taste the vanilla
^^You might also have a look out for this too: (The ABV is way lower though)
Stone Brewing- "Smoked Porter with Vanilla Bean" from their Limited Winter Edition series.

EDIT: . . . aaaand last but certainly not least, be on the look out for one of these "Dark Lord Bourbon Barrel Aged w/Vanilla Bean Russian Imperial Stout" by Three Floyds Brewing Co. & Brewpub ( http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/26/42349/ ), they are supposed to be absolutely epic, but I have never, ever been able to locate one. Maybe you can get them back east?

Pinot Noir barrels for a damn year? That must be one big *** beer, 16% is no joke. I would imagine something vinous, oaky and slight sour under some kind of big *** RIS?
