Looks like another great reason not to buy a dodge product.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that built engines with larger turbos and aftermarket EMS spinning 1500 RPM past the factory redline are not covered under any manufacturer warranty..

From the thread it sounds like the clutch manufacture is going to fix the car?!

Yup, Darrel *** racing made the clutch, it blew up and took half the bay with it! He didn't have to cover it but it's good PR that he is.

IIRC Darrel *** racing is out of NC? If thats the same place I'm thinking about my buddy has one of their prototype TT setups on his SRT-4.

From the looks of the photos, the flywheel is what gave away...

There you can see the ring gear is still in place but theres no friction material left on the flywheel.

Either way, hes VERY VERY lucky they're fixing all of that. Race parts hardly EVER have any kind of warranty.. Looks like some serious serious damages.

Yeah there was no warranty, but if you were DCR would you want these pictures out on the net, associated with your product, and the poster saying you told him to go play in traffic?
