You know, i have a FM kit, and i don't much care for the heatsheld either.... it's quite a PITA to remove. I know how the design can be improved though.... dunno if FM listens to ideas though.....

There's some pretty decent information and a few decent folk here. No need to leave because of a few idiots.

Actually, it's only a temporary ban, hence "Temporarily Banned" under his user name. I banned him because he acts like a troll on other boards. No reason for him to disrupt our utopia here. Besides, he's already claimed (elsewhere) with pride how much his turbo sucks and that he'd be happier with some L33T IRRTBz. So no reason for him to come back.

To try to get back on track and address a legitimate suggestion:

It would be a ton of work, but a full list of every part in your kits with a separate price for everything would be awesome. Good to see you on these forums.
This is a quote from the Parts and upgrades department on the FM website. To get to it, click on Turbochargers then Parts and Upgrades from any page on the site.
We sell every part of our turbo kits separately. If you're building your own kit or if you need some replacement bits, we can help. We don't have everything on the website, though. If you don't see what you're looking for, just give us a call.
If anyone has a suggestion on how to make that more clear or easier to find, please let me know. Seriously, I'm asking for recommendations here. I'm going to be adding more parts to the site, although I doubt we'll ever get to the point where every nut and bolt is listed.

I suppose it's just a general public mindset thing, then (aka me-><-FM's site). Mabye rename the section "Turbocharger kits/parts" so there's some indication on the very front page, and then add the manifolds to the part list right at the top.

When someone goes to your homepage, they look to the left and see a column called online store. Right there, maybe below turbochargers you should put something like "Parts and Upgrades For The DIY Crowd" That would get peoples attention. Hell, make it a different color too. I've actually looked on your site for different parts and never seen that section in your link before.

I tend to agree. There has been times when I wanted a part and wanted to order online and had to do multiple searches on the site. Only reason I went thru the effort was because I already knew you sold what I needed. If not, I probably would not have looked anymore. Everyone does not know what FM can and can't do. When I first bought my FM a few years ago I would have not found certaine things on your site if not for other sites that know. I remember when I bout my 02 modifier, I had to do multiple searches to find it. I kept trying because i knew you had it.

We have a complete section devoted to MSM parts, listed on every page in that Online Store box. The O2 signal modifier is one of those parts. One click on "Mazdaspeed MX-5" from any page on the site, you're looking at it. I really don't know how to make that easier.

On any page on the site, you can click on "Turbochargers". Then the "Parts and upgrades" is one of the options. I could push it up to the top level and I'll consider that, but it's possible to make a case to put everything at the top level. Then it gets too hard to move through easily.

i think it might be helpful if you guys listed more things on your site for sale separately from the turbo kits, like turbos, intercooler pipes, air box and filter. correct me if they're on your site but i haven't seen them
