2004 MazdaSpeed MSM MX-5 Mazda Miata Factory Turbo - LOW MILES! - Red MSM - 38,070 Miles

2004 MazdaSpeed MX-5 MSM Mazda Miata Factory Turbo Red/blk

For sale just in time for summer driving is this 2004 Mazda Miata MX-5 TURBO (Factory) convertible with 6 speed manual transmission. Low 38,070 miles.

This Mx-5 is in Velocity Red Mica, and is a rare factory turbo car. MazdaSpeed Miatas were the only factory turbo Miatas; made for a short time in limited quantities. Only 5,428 MazdaSpeed MX-5s were produced during model years 2004 and 2005.

Owned by an 80 year old man who kept it in his airport hanger before my 66 year old father bought it a few months ago. It continued to stay enclosed in a garage except for drives on nice days. My dad's cancer has progressed and the tumors now in his brain impact his vision so he can no longer drive. With that it makes sense for him to sell.

Someone asked what was on the hood above the Mazda emblem. That is a little pinstripe design done by someone who does pinstripe work in Tulsa named Sandy.

Bose audio system
Cold air (A/C)
Electric windows
Electric locks
Convertible top is black and in great shape
BEGi separated gases down pipe
Borla exhaust

low 38,070 miles

Two keys with remote door lock and trunk release

Asking $11,300.

Clean and clear title in hand, no liens.
CARFAX is clean with no surprises and good maintenance history. Available upon request.
Non-smoker, no pets.

I never understood that retardation.
It actually looks uglier and goofier than the original miata front.

I mean..........................why

I actually like that front.

Then again, I'm a sucker for those old bug-eye sprites as well. As long as you aren't rebadging it, I don't see a problem. Different strokes and all that.

Meh

I see so much worse than that the closer I drive to KC.

I'm actually considering making an offer if it comes down in price more. I would use a few things it has, maybe for free.

What you gotta do to sell things on CR, hehe

I don't know, would be good to know. I wonder why he has them, catback is rodworthy I guess?

I'm gonna wait it out a week or two more then maybe do something. I sure would like a hardtop, roll bar, and a 1.8 on standby.

And the crapiotta doesn't look like a bugeye sprite. It is made to mimic the Italian classics, poorly.

When I see cars like that bugeyed NA, I can't help but feel a bit of sympathy for the owner. Someone had a vision, but when they tried to execute it, wound up with that pile of crap, and haven't yet come to terms with the fact that the car is now worth less than its part-out value.

While I agree with most of this, I have come to realize something even more sad over the past couple years: there is no vision.

at all.

Their approach, quite literally, is "evolve as you go". Meaning you order random parts cause you think they're cool, and never even consider "the big picture".

I see this all the time. The kids call it "being different". The health care professionals diagnose it as ADHD
