I am always surprised when people don't have cash, like dont you guys have a hustle? I was making um, some cash, even in middle and highschool just doing dumb **** for kids who didn't want to do it themselves.

I guess I'm just used to the street racing scene, where there are like 5 dudes with 10-20 grand rolls in their pocket.

I keep a stash in my safe. But not $2k+. It always ends up shrinking when I am too lazy to go to the atm for random craigslist dealz.

I wish I had seen that before. I would have had my uncle snag it. Someone got a screeming deal.

I actually have a set of the 95M BBS wheels on my 1990.

I'm with you Y8s.
I get very irritated when people don't have PayPal.
Even more so when they go out of the way to post it in the ad like PayPal is some sort of scam service.

Huh. Never had an issue.
I still carry and use cash, but it seems like there is a better way in 2016.

I buy/sell lots of stuff on CL. It's bad. Real bad. (though I guess it probably depends really heavily on location, I'm in CA)

There's at least a dozen tricks they use with paypal to scam people nowadays. And I'm not talking about the easy stuff, like getting an email with "payment received, click to claim" from Paypa1 or something

**** dawgs, i will go to the ATM on the way to the craigs lists or accept cash but cash is a pain. omg coins and change! if i have to carry more than like 4 pieces of paper money in my pocket I get all frustrated. I make exception for farmers markets because food beguiles me. also farmers market is 30 feet from my ATM. also even farmers accept credit. because future!

The future doesn't work on Saturday afternoon or Sunday. Unless your future only holds 300 bucks.

^which is really annoying if the ATM doesn't give the option of giving all 100's.

Bank at TD. Their newer machines let you specify the exact denomination of every bill in the withdrawal, from $1 up.

Yeah was just about to say that. Pretty cool. No more looking like you just robbed a strip club trying to withdraw 10 grand in 20's

But anyways, shall we get back to scraping and posting up actual CL ads now?

That '95 M Edition in Tyler, TX is allegedly still available.

My brother talked to the "seller" yesterday, and I pulled the Carfax last night. Some red flags for sure.

Also, allegedly, someone came down from Dallas to look at it and went over it with a "magnifying glass". Said person claimed parts had been res prayed and he walked from it.

I'll post the Carfax here if people are interested. Probably still a good deal at the price listed (original Merlot hardtop is worth what? Easy $1200+?), but probably not a $5k example with meticulous history, and probably not worth the hassle of trying to purchase from NC.

If it was 90 minutes from me I'd take a look...
