yeah, it makes a new distinct noise that im not used to and turns over very quickly now. (doesn't help that I have a completely blown motor mount.)
Now I can wait out being the first owner of a used 2012 Ford Focus ST...otherwise, if I had to get something today, I'd get a used Mazdaspeed 3.

and it's still a hyundai and cant compete is terms of performance, comfort, cargo room, mpgs, and fun factor when compared to the focus st.

I dont own a miata. Joke's on you!
let's just say the veloster would be the nail in the coffin. And right now, I'm like Will Smith and Tom Cruise in terms of questionable preferences.

I'm going to jinx your *** and say it will reoccur again soon. I don't understand how the starter would cause the initial issue. I'm still betting on a bad cell(s) in the battery, and you just jostled it around enough to make it start working again for the moment. I've tested many a battery with a load tester and had a battery pass, then test it again seconds later and have it fail... then again and it passes, then fails, so on and so forth.
I'm feeling negative today, so I jinx you!

looks like the veloster does win in MPG, and it can come in matte gray. that's kinda cool.
still. after seeing them up close and personal at the car show in Jan, I crossed it off my list.

seriously, flat gray?
they must have done some consumer focus groups 5 years ago when it was also lame.
