ha.
maybe a week or two of having this starter installed, I noticed it wasn't spinning smoothly. I could hear a weird grinding/hollow/resonate noise along with it.
Then it was having trouble starting, where it would hang while cranking and sometimes just stop and kinda slam stopped.
yesterday i had the same, turn key, then lose all power happen. I pulled the 12v cable from the battery, replaced it, and was able to get the car started.
it was fine this morning and did the same no-power thing at lunch...I'm now driving the miata without a/c. I plan on pulling the starter and getting another replacement and see how it goes.
then i just need to get it to pass inspection and ill sell it in the next few weeks and buy a wrx. Ill need help with that...i know nothing about them.

im waiting to see pictures of this: Used 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX w/VDC For Sale in Owings Mills MD | JF1GH74658G810571
I want a pearl white one. I'd prefer a 2011, but I'd also prefer keeping it under 20K. Some 08-09 I've seen are ugly as sin. I'd almost rather a 06-07 wagon over the 08-09, I need to drive them all first I suposse.

fail turbo
fail suspension
probably other stuff I don't really care about..but still.
it retains the td04 while adopting the "new" style setup (plastic mani, fail tmic, etc) of the 09+. Said td04 is a ---- hair larger than the previous td04's, and only made for the 08 year. makes like 5hp more or something stupid.
suspension is about as stiff as a camry's.....body roll out the wahoo
probably other stuff too, but like i said no one even cares about 08's anymore because of their shortcomings.
I tuned like 1 08 and the dude didn't even know they were so much different than the 09s. now he's upgrading to 09+ turbo and other stuff
if you get a sweet deal on one (and I mean REALLY good) then get it then slap on the vf52 from an 09+ and get tuned accordingly

I prefer the styling of the 2011-2012, but there's a huge price just that comes along with it. around 5K...but yes, I WILL buy one. you'll see.
I'm still interested in the 06-07 wagon, but would rather stick with the latest model. Or i just buy a really cheap MS3, they are a really good value, but I really want the AWD i decided.
