I think Jason's point was that even purportedly non-profit and public organizations like police departments can be corrupted despite the fact that they aren't private, for-profit businesses.

I am basing this on the quotation marks he put around the words "profit motivated" which indicate that he is using that phrase in something other than a literal sense.

Use butter for sauteeing veggies and frying eggs, and coconut oil, lard, ghee, duck fat or tallow for high temperature frying.
Olive oil or black currant seed oil for salads.
I generally do that, but thought Sunflower had one of the more friendly fat profiles of the high temp oils?

I'll look into coconut. Solid at room temp?

Phase change is somewhere around 75 degrees so it depends on how hot your kitchen is.

They are all PUFA's high in Omega6. (polyunsaturated fatty acids) They tend to oxidize and thus cause heart disease (as per newer hypotheses).

5 fats you should be cooking with but may not be

So I'm thoroughly enjoying this new found coffee with butter thing. It makes the coffee so smooth and rich. I feel like I've been missing out my entire life. I cheat a bit and use a dash of half and half as well as maybe 1/2 tsp of sugar, with the coconut oil.

Had a keto muffin for desert tonight after a shredding shoulder/legs workout.

I just tripped over a shoe on my way to the computer while carrying a scalding hot cup of coffee. I ran across the room leaning at about a 20 degree angle, trying to regain balance. Caught myself on the wall with my free hand so hard that I cracked the sheet rock. Didn't spill a ******* a drop. No ***** given.
