Absolutely not.
You are suggesting that the individual has no rights, that his life and work belong to the group. The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights, cannot claim to be defenders of minorities. look how good we are doing!: http://www.econlib.org/library/Enc/a...figure_042.jpg how about this little bit of statics, mr. wonderful: Even though the 1920s are thought of as a decade of prosperity, by today’s standards almost all Americans in the 1920s were poor. Economic growth made almost all Americans richer than their counterparts of the 1920s. A reduction in economic growth, even a slight one, if compounded, causes more future poverty than would otherwise have been the case. If the annual growth rate of GDP in the United States had been just one percentage point lower between 1885 and 2005, then the United States today would be no richer than Mexico. The main thing that helps all poor people in the long run is economic growth. |
Look at how much it jumped from 2000-2003. I blame Bush. He's racist too, Kanye told me so.
|
and look how much the ETIC (Earned Income Tax Credit) and SSI (Supplemental Security Income) had zero effect on the poverty levels...
when you tax producers, you hurt the poor. did you know that unions lobbied for the introduction of minimum wage laws so as to exclude black workers from the labor market. By preventing black workers from selling their labor for less than white workers, the black workers were prevented from competing for jobs held by whites. How thoughtful! And like they always say: of the people, by the people, for certain people oh yeah, America existed before 1937, if you didn't realize...before FDR decided to |

Our current welfare state is the greatest dis-service ever to the poor. Eternal second standard treatment under the guise of immediate benefit. |
WASHINGTON -- The Interior Department's inspector general says the White House edited a drilling safety report in a way that made it falsely appear that scientists and experts supported the idea of the administration's six-month ban on new drilling.
Here's your general welfare. |

That is the purpose of property taxes. An entire country where no one can own any land, we're just renting it from the government.

As long as you have something that you need to pay money for regularly, that if you stop paying money for it, someone will take it from you... Renting. |
Just so everyone knows, this is what it is like talking to Scott online everyday. How I have lived this long without bashing my face in on my desk I have no clue.

Well just so you know: As the democrat party controls our public school system, the courses taught are favorable to socialism. American “scholars” are not taught that socialism is a cancer, which will eat away the core of a capitalist nation by simply removing any desire of the citizens to advance their station in life. It squashes all ambition to live better, to make more money, to manufacture better goods, to offer better services, to do/say/produce anything in which one could exhibit pride either in themselves or their country. |

And so we're making the world safe for democracy, rather than a republic who stays out of it. USA. |
Wasn't this thread supposed to be about V8z?

I loved how for my Mechanical Engineering degree I was REQUIRED to take this course in Sociology where I had to read this crazy mind-washing totalitarianism propaganda book called Ishmael.
That is American education with regards to political ideology atm. |
