To further my example previous said - I just received this e-mail from Larry Alster: (I mean - what moderator contacts you outside the forum to complain!?!?)

And you're saying that we don't? Sheesh, guess I gotta ban a few vendors as a show of force now... 
In all seriousness people, we just can't have this. I don't mind people mentioning MT on other boards, or singing its praises, or even criticizing it if you have a legitimate point. But associating MT (directly or indirectly) with trolling, flaming, muck-raking, and so on at other boards is simply not going to stand. In other words, saying "You guys are all a bunch of ********, I'm going back to MT" on any other forum (even ILikeToJerkOffToNakedPicturesOfJustinTimberlakesGr andfather.net) will pretty much result in permaban from now on. We don't want to be associated with the kind of folks who pull that kind of BS.

I'm on a few forums. Okay, more than a few. I do mention other boards when posting around, but I never talk about my personal experiences beyond that of superficial expression. Nothing deeply opinionated. With that, I might link something that's relevant to the topic or thread that I'm on, to add to the discussion. Being a part of multiple MR2 boards and Saturn boards etc. there might be members that are on separate boards such as myself. As on here. I know a couple of you from other boards.
Also, I'll post a topic or relate the info to that of a discussion from another forum. BUT, I don't go around bashing. Firstly, my name is too easy to remember and second, I seem to see people I know everywhere on forums. It's weird. I feel that if I burn a bridge somewhere, or get all pissy pants and tick off a mod somewhere, then I'm going to be known as and *** elsewhere. It kinda sucks to "get around" sometimes...
