They must have made a deal with the local corrupt politicians to let them have a Hong Kong internet connection, because it's fast, and the ad banners above are all about meeting HK girls, all of whom seem to be 160-162 cm and 40 kg.

In contrast, in our office only 10 minutes away, our connection has to go through the Great Firewall of China, which is slllloooowww. Downloading a 10 Mb technical document from our own website in the US can take minutes.
