OOhhhhhh ok, that makes a little more sense then. I didn't realize 4.0 wranglers only had 3speed autos. Lame.

We got a warning from the city for operating a chop shop when I moved my lift kit from my 4dr xj to my mj.

I was a Jeep nut long before I knew miatas existed. My mom had an XJ when I was a little kid and it was such a good car that at one point every member of my immediate family had one. I'll have to look for the picture of us with all of them.
I wanted a Comanche (Yours is AWESOME), but those things are going for completely stupid prices these days, and they're all 4 bangers around me. I won't own a jeep without the 4.0.

My Cherokee is only rare because of how it's optioned out. Nobody local has seen one before. You can get the combo in the early 90s, but post-facelift, not so much.

Either way... i just thought it was cool. I would have bought it even if it had an auto.

Was mostly kidding, I don't think I've ever actually seen/noticed a two door face lifted xj. Someday I plan on doing the facelift update to my Comanche, you know, after all my other projects are done

But where would you park them? I considered buying a Type 2 VW this morning. If you're gonna take advantage of my garage space for the Triumph, you should do it soon before I realize I only have 3 project cars and 4 spaces to park cars

Oooh, I love those things. What shape is it in? Around here, they all rotted out after only a couple years, as the rust protection was non-existent back then.

Yes, there is only one owner.

Obviously it needs front fenders but it still has the 1600 dual port in it. Fender damage is from driving drunk through the woods at low speed.

I've always liked that the front windshield folds flat.

I really need to do this. Like, really really really. Its a super dangerous path to be sure, but I'm not sure I can turn down the offer. You said AAA should be able to handle it, right?

If I had a garage and didn't live in a condo complex I would seriously consider this.

I'll pay a little more and take the "project" for spares.

If you know me, i'd daily it the **** out of it. 60 miles a day in 2 feet of snow and salt. I would totally abuse it.
