Why off contract?

 

I can afford it, I just don't like paying that much at once. Tends to throw off my average spending for the month for my store/personal. Plus, I hate spending money on things on my business when things randomly break.

Owning a bakery is terrible in a way. Take the life expectancy of anything, and cut it in half. Wheat flour gets in everything, and no matter how much preventative maintenance you do, it'll die at some point.
I don't like being on contract for anything, haven't for 4 years. Contracts are the devil, be it phone, internet, laundry service etc. etc.

I'd rather have the freedom to sell my phone than be locked into it for 2 years.

Plus, my brother in law's sister dropped her phone in the sink, so I'm helping her out by giving her a good deal on my Galaxy S4, and giving the technophile in me a snazzy new phone.
