How (and why) to Ramble on your goat sideways
I can do this too but I am salary. My work week is also longer than 40 hours. Surprising amount of flexibility as long as my work gets done though.

I love those thug life videos.
The word "quit" has never had any place in my life or vocabulary. I get stuff done one way or another, and I never, ever give up. Yesterday I stood up during a board meeting and said, "I'm not saying I'm quitting...but I'll bring in an AR-15 and kill all you *************."
Now I can stay home with my kids.
Thug life.

Facebook is a thing which exists, and to which many of us are exposed on a regular basis.
From time to time, I come across a situation in which an individual, typically female, has posted an image of themself. Inevitably, this tends to be followed by numerous posts by vapid morons saying "U R soo beautiful, girl!" and things to this effect.
And I cannot help but think to myself that not merely does the person in the image fail to satisfy any conventional definition of the word "beautiful," but in fact, if I were to post a comment, it would tend to read along the general lines of "Holy ****, you are an amazingly unattractive person, and you really ought not to wear clothing which causes your flesh to bulge in that specific way! And while I commend your bravery in posting this photograph of yourself in a place where many people can see it, I cannot help but wish that I had never stumbled across this posting."

Just got promoted early. I got a 13% pay raise last June, another 10% with the promotion, and will be eligible for another raise in June again. Also got a performance bonus and told I am getting on the client account I wanted. New engagement will involve international travel to Europe. Today was a good day.

I think it's a contributing factor into why there are so many people who have a distorted perception of themselves, their accomplishments and their value to society, and who have great difficulty comprehending reality.
You mean I'm not important just because I'm pretty?

I too received an unexpected bonus this year. Actually, I should say I received 59.75% of an unexpected bonus. Thanks Obama.
