Pretty much.

MSM is almost paid off

Though I'm sure once I have more going to my pocket I'll change my tune. It's the frustration of having to jump through hoops of fire to make the msm 'work' for now... I wish it had a stock non reflashed ecu I'm tuning the xede on my own at the moment chasing down lean AFR spots and knock codes. No idea what timing it's calling for, no way to log. I got closed/open loop to work better when in boost 5psi or less. I hit 11.8 instead of 12.5

TL|DR - OEM allthethings sounds great right about now.

But first, I need to pass inspection on the aidz I has now

Knock related,

I'm down to where after shifts between 1500rpm - 3500rpm it goes lean (16-17-18AFR depending on load) after clutch is engaged... so close. And a heat soaked IAT makes it worse

Thinking about setting the timing to -2 across the entire map or at least where it's already 0's - I do know that at least the idle timing is 17*, the change would bring it down to 15 at least at idle

I still have to install my gate valve to rid of the p0128 code. No tools or a garage to do this makes things a little difficult.

I'm not sure how well I did on the exam, I'm confident though.

These days, all of our lectures are online. We can stream them 24/7 remotely via the Internet. When did you graduate? I've heard that his lectures used to be broadcast over a UF television station at a certain time and students had to watch it then or they were SOL.
Sorry for the delay in responding here. Took me seven years to notice you'd replied to my last post on the subject.

I graduated in '99.

And, yes, the rumors about the econ classes being available on a TV station are correct. In fact, I used to work part time at that TV station as the master control operator.

WLUF-LP (aka W10BR), to be precise. It was the low power auxiliary service of WUFT. Most of what we aired during the day was big lecture classes, and in the evenings we carried some PBS programming. The station signed off at night. LUF was also carried on the campus cable system, and *** Cable carried it as well. Pretty sure the station went away around the time of the ATSC cutover.

However, you didn't have to watch in on TV in your dorm. The way they scheduled the classes back then was kind of odd. If you were signed up for the first class of the day, you went and sat in the auditorium in Bryan Hall and watched the prof give the class live as it was being recorded. If you were signed up for any of the later classes, you went and sat in that exact same auditorium and watched the replay of the class on a big projection screen. TAs were present, but the prof wasn't.

Curious to know if it's still offered in that rather odd format.

Excellent response time.

I got an A- in that class, the only minus grade I ever received.

All of our lectures were online but I just bought study guides IIRC.

Joey P fly down to Miami and read Tolstoy to me.

Rules for the best racing series on earth:
1: Vehicle must have four wheels in contact with the ground, with no less than 15% of the vehicle's weight applied to each wheel, when at level rest.

2: Vehicle weight, in racing trim with all fluids, less driver, must be no less than 2,000 lbs, nor greater than 4,000 lbs.

3: Total vehicle cost may not exceed $50,000, excluding tires, brakes, and safety equipment.

4: (random safety stuff.)

5: Fuel, aerodynamics, suspension, engine, (etc, etc) are unlimited. Total on-board fuel capacity may not exceed 30 lbs. Total battery weight may not exceed [some reasonable number].

Audi would build a diesel that wins that series.

EDIT: Your first draft specified gallons, not pounds of fuel.

EDIT THE EDIT: Didn't catch the budget restriction. Audi wouldn't care.

Sounds like rules for the worst racing series on earth.

"Oh yeah we bought this engine for $5000, here's the receipt."

Then the engine is really worth like 30k. It would be Lemons/Chump on steroids and the huge difference is that people with that type of budget would be way more competitive with trying to find an edge.

Exactly.

It would be a series populated entirely by teams who worship at the Church of Smokey Yunick.

Make it a claiming series for all I care.
