I found a new song to drive fast to... Cancer Bats covering Sabotage. I had to restrain myself yesterday...I just wanted to go *****-out on the highway when this came on...

I love the puzzled look I get from people when they see such a little car sounding like a diesel truck.

I love the look people give when you get some douche-bag in his Dad's Mustang GT or Corvette that gives you a smug look and then you lay waste to them when the light turns green. Or the guys in their Porsches that can't drive and you rape them on the track. Makes me smile... and laugh.

Way too many people are ignorant and naive for their own good, especially when it comes to driving their cars.

Oh man you're telling me, ESPECIALLY in a college town. It's horrible. One guy in a saturn with a modded exhaust, smoked lights, a complete diy roll cage revs his engine to redline as soon as he starts it to "warm it up". Every single time I leave for class.

are you mad he's smarter than you? the less time in warm up mode, the less time the piston rings are running with "cold" tolerances.

Bah ha ha. In our track cars we just idle them lean. Doesn't damage anything (as far as the teardowns suggest) and cuts warm-up to about a third of the time.

Speaking of that, what thermostat should I be using? I didn't even think of this until now. One came with the M-Tuned re-route kit but I have no idea what temps it's for.

I only made it to 2:38. Robert Plant has lost every bit of his vocal range and power. He should have avoided cigarettes and alcohol to better preserve his instrument. What a shame.

Why do they stereotype themselves and then get mad when we point it out?

Fuuuck, monday 8 hour trackday in a Dutch spec car and noone to take the car to and from the track with trailer. Plus we need to swap RR control arms, again.

I would volunteer my time if you were anywhere near me. Why are you swapping them again? Design flaw?

Thank you, Sideshow Bob.

I can't quite remember when exactly I got my first modem. Late 80s, I think. It was after I'd transitioned from the C-64 to an Amiga 500. External, 1200 baud.

The two BBSs I remember best from those days were Sanctuary of the Krasnians (625-CUBS) running C-net on an Amiga 2000HD, and the Cave of Atlantis, running Wildcat! on an x86 machine. There were a couple of others in 813, but those two were the big ones.

I wish I could remember the name of the board that was part of FidoNet. I used that one a fair bit as well.
