Negative, sir. The laziest is a toss up between slack-jaw southern country black and English cockney.

Edit: I left out Hawaiian pidgin.

I work with several black people who suffer from the lazy speak syndrome. Often I just have to shake my head and smile and hope that was an appropriate answer, because I don't like asking "what?" more than twice. On top of that, one of them is a soft talker...

Mistaking speed for laziness is common until you've actually interacted with Londoners. True cockney has been dead since immigrants took over the East End.

The dialect of chip shop workers in Dublin is the most amusing. The wave of Eastern European immigrants who came over during the Celtic Tiger period to work had to learn English on the job. Unfortunately, everyone they dealt with was drunk and their version of English comes out as sort of a mumble.

"Howyuh?" is their version of "How are you?"

And the lovely baguette assemblers in Spar always begin with a "butmayuh?" when they're asking you if you'd like butter or mayonnaise on your sandwich.

I've got a bit of an audio question here:
HOW THE **** CAN I GET THE DAMN CAR TO STOP RATTLING

I don't listen to bass-heavy music. My favorite band is Pink Floyd, which, while it does have bass, it's shouldn't be enough to make the entire ******* door rattle.

My plan is to dynamat the whole ******* thing. Doors, floor, around my speaker box and especially the door around where the speakers are (Would doubling up do anything at all?). Dynamat the whole place around where the roll bar mounts (Seem to have some rattles from around there). Would doing the trunk do anything? Planning on a sub in the trunk.

Note: I don't much care about the weight of the car. The turbo takes care of the slow .

Turn the bass down low, adjust treble accordingly.

**** I am sore. I just spent about an hour in the pits at a bad religion show. Not only a 2.5 hour drive home.

Start pulling things apart with the glorious music playing. When something stops rattling, put a piece of closed-cell foam (or something other appropriate material) between the item you removed and the door.

Dynamat your trunk lid for sure. That will rattle like crazy if you get a sub.

SLEEP! GOOOOOOD! Only got 14 hours of sleep. Never saw the sun today. First day since Monday I have gotten more than 1-2 hours of restless sleep.

I used to take Ambien. I was only lacking sleep because of kidney stone pains. I have Percocet now, so that isn't an issue anymore. I could have actually gone back to sleep a few hours ago, but decided to stay up and cook some chili instead. It's smelling good up in hur, at 2:30 in the morning
