Why did you not get the expander board? Would have made it so you did not need to buy the idle kit or the EBC kit.

I had thought long and hard about the expander board, but the idea of using all those extra I/O's for other things down the road made me decide to DIY everything on the mainboard for now.

if I score this GT3067r churbo for as cheap as i think i can, I will grab the ms3x and go all OMGWTFBBQ on it.

otherwise the MS3 processor was already an additional $100 impulse over budget
