Still alive here in lower Manhattan.
Saw a clever news story this morning. Apparently some local group has been advertizing (and actually making some sales) on contracts to provide post-rapture pet care, for those folks who are worried that Fido will be lonely during the armageddon.

He meant 6 'o clock *************....and with 24 time zone and with the world ending "at 6 o' clock", we have 48 chances (24 chances for 6am and 24 chanes of 6pm) for the world to end on the day of 5/21.
What a surprise! I was so worried there for a second.....
Anybody play EVE Online? Love this game. So easy to just pick it up when you're bored and play for a little while. So much **** to do, so much to see, for all the time you can spare.

Sometimes, copywriters just aren't thinking...
Here in Manhattan, the evening news on WNYW (the local Fox station) each night begins with a produced bumper that exclaims "It's 10 PM, do you know where your children are?", a phrase dating back to the 60's.
Immediately following that on tonight's broadcast, the lead-in tease began with "Thrown in the garbage..."
