Wow, I've replaced the clutch in my altima twice now. It's at around ~135K
Funny enough, both times were right on the week of Thanksgiving.
:fingerscrossed:
I need it not to happen again...I'm selling the car.
I should really learn to prep my vehicles before the first snow,
On top of the clutch job I also need to do,
Ball joints, drain and fill both differentials, serpentine belt, pcv valve, battery, throttle position sensor, rear drum shoes and hardware, and wash and clean the interior.
Gonna be fun....

Really hate when things randomly break on my computer.
I've been using the same Logitech wireless mouse for the past 6 months. Never loaded the Logitech software, just plugged in the receiver and let Windows install it. Worked great. The scroll wheel was automatically configured so that tilting the scroll wheel to the left produced a "Back" keystroke which was convenient for web browsing.
Two days ago it stopped doing this. I've looked through the CP Mouse settings (nothing), and deleted the mouse driver and let Windows reinstall it (no luck). I'm about to download the stupid Logitech software to see if that works.

Funny thing about it seemed to be the clutch was still completely intact the master and slave cyls had gone bad. Slave cyl on the rangers are in the trans. Obviously had a new slave cyl but forgot to get the master so the truck is still siting on the lift.
Just finished 5 days without utility power/internet/TV/Telephone and running around to find fuel for the generator. No damage here, but those poor people South and East of me are surely hurting. Last night was the first I saw pictures. Radio is not that descriptive.

I've been answering phones to register people for FEMA assistance in 12-hour shifts for the last three days...this country is fucked, lol. 80-90% of the 140 calls I've taken are a waste of time.

80-90% of the calls are bullshit lazy ***** who don't work and want FEMA to bring them food that spoiled in their fridge when power went out. Roughly 1-10 are real problems where people have lost anything at all. I'd say no more than 5% of the people who called had total devastation.
FEMA individual assistance basically wastes all their time and money on people who want to be reimbursed for **** they should have insured, 2-5 days of missed work, or general questions about how they can have free money they don't deserve. My favorite was a guy who called who makes $400k per year and expect FEMA to not only pay to remove the tree that fell in his yard (and only his yard) and expects FEMA to give him compensation for the grass that it killed, lol.

Goddamn... So do you guys reserve the right to deny anyone who doesn't seem to "qualify"?
Like those jizzmunching bottom feeders begging for handouts, even with weakass attempts, will they be reimbursed or no? Or people that ruined their cars (that should be insured anyway)? That's what I want to know..
Because I'll probably grow an aneurysm out of pure, unadulterated rage if they do get money.

Be sure to use a nice, thick, Texas drawl when talking to them. Then ask them questions that belittle their claims.
"How many hours was your house completely underwater?"
"When the roof came completely off your house, did it destroy any of the neighboring houses?"
"How many feet deep was the water in the main floor of your house?"
"Were you able to locate the property where your house used to stand?"
"Yes, sir. This is the Federal Emergency Management Agency. What is your emergency?"
