Part of this idea is because I want more power. Part of it is because it would be nice if the car sounded better. Part of it is because I'm board and want to do **** to my car. Part of it is because I suck at working on cars and need to gain experience before going turbo and running SOME OF IT. Part of it is because I want to squander away as much money as possible so I can return to my rightful socioeconomic status ie. abject poverty. Let me know if this is difficult for any of you to understand. I can make a pie chart.

*No longer quite so sure about running higher compression pistons.

So Joe, the air mattress idea has already failed. I think it's been less than 2 months, and already a leak. It leaks down from comfortably full to me laying on my box spring within 30 minutes. Time to go buy another and hope it lasts a little longer this time. Maybe another brand.

How dare I have the audacity to fully stop at a stop sign. Some douche in a silver Titan comes flying up on my *** as I'm doing a quick touch and go stop, and lays on the horn and throws his hands up at me. He comes up on me like if I hadn't been there he would have rolled through still doing 10-15mph. So I drive slow as **** for the last 1/4 mile before my turn off just to spite him. Turns out he makes the next turn and passes by my house, and apparently lives up the street, maybe 6 or 7 houses down. So if my car comes up damaged soon, I know who's windshield to smash out with a brick.

Meh, at this point it wouldn't really matter. My car is a horrible pile of ****. The paint is virtually rotting off the body, big dent in the rear driver quarter, the top is tattered and leaks, the brakes are past gone, transmission is the loudest I've ever heard, ball joints are really worn and slack, a/c and heater don't work right, everything squeaks and rattles, consistently loose belts that make all sorts of noise when they get wet. If the car caught on fire tomorrow I wouldn't be too upset. Once it got to a certain point of disrepair, I gave up.

It's served me well. It's just gotten to the point that it's not worth keeping it up. Chassis is around 250k miles, a sloppy loose *****. To bring it back to reasonable good running order would cost probably double the book value, and I've already spent double that number on it in the 6 years I've owned it. So long as it will still run and roll and get me from point a to point b, I'm leaving it alone. As soon as I get something else, I'll put it out to pasture. That should come soon, I hope.

It will retire there one day. I can at least get $1500 out of the seats and a few other interior pieces, exhaust, some suspension parts, wheels/tires. So not a total loss. That's book value of the car at least. I'd probably try to sell the parted roller, but if I couldn't at least sell the engine, I'd just scrap it all for $150-200.

I have two of them but I have never actually used them. Presumably it's like Square's device.

I was also considering Square, but I'm thinking keeping all of my transactions with Paypal would be a bit more secure than dealing with deposits directly to an account with Square.

Separate account for Square deposits, then move them into your normal account.

My wife has been using Square for a long time without a problem.

Reuse what? Intake, head, piston, block? You want to be able to stone out most of the pit/dimple to remove sharp edges. Many (most?) would say none at all, but I've seen some pretty battered pistons get reused in a DD situation where it didn't appear to make a bit of difference.

my ******* supra sucked up and spat out something obviously metallic. The head and piston got lightly banged up but doesnt look really severe or deep. I have wiseco forged pistons in it, and my machinist says it looks reusable to him. The valve seats of the head are magically and luckily untouched. The turbo is untouched and nothing was at the cat...

im just really ******* pissed though so I just cant seem to think straight atm.

Is it baked on there? Looks like it was something aluminum that melted and got stuck to the piston.

no, I dont think so, just already has carbon filled in the shallow dents. Is it true that I could just order a replacement piston from wisco if I give them that number if I needed to?
