I think its a pretty cool and unique project. Not that its going to be as quick as a properly setup turbo miata, but still.....

the build might be awesome. But do you really need to do all that work and throw in a v12 for a 400rwhp miata?

The radical v8's can suck my *****.

Ever see the rebuild life and cost on those motors?

Baby F1 motor exactly, all the negatives and none of the 700hp.

BTDT on different projects. Sometimes, it's just because you can and sometimes just to be different.

If he can get it running right, that thing will be a beauty to the ears. Frankly, I'm impressed with the guy's apparent lack of arrogance.

The thing is neat, would I do it, hell no, not even if I could, but it's cool to see a V12 Miata. What's the big deal, this is what makes him happy, plus if I ever see hm at the track I can say I beat a V12 miata.

Not really a waste, but too much at once. Get the stocker in and running, then mod it.

It's overkill, but it's cool nonetheless.

It's cool. But think if he would of put that much money into a chevy small block 400. I had a friend that put "including nos, and labor" $2000 worth of used parts in one. It made 450 to the ground on 101 octane. And he backed it up with a 200 hp shot of nos. He even had the pull lever open exhaust. It was unreal.

But he was out ran by everything in town. He had 373 gears and couldn't ever get the truck to hook up. He punched it at 80 and it just lit the tires up. He finally put it in a drag car with slicks.
