I'm still planning on it. Should be healed, bike and body, from the spill I took yesterday (oblivious pedestrian).

I always say pedestrians are a greater hazard than cars. Glad to hear you're healing up

Now to figure out how to bring two bikes from SF in my miata...

LOL...wife smashing QOM on strava segments on my parents tandem. (me pulling her LOL)

Cant wait to have one that I can lean into. The suspension fork bounces around whenever I put any effort in since my weight is totally sprung.

They certainly are. I thought I was being pretty cautious around them already but now even more so. Putting the incredibell on the road bike, ZFG about the fashion police.

I didn't end up making the ride though. Didn't get the new tire in time. Was supposed to have been delivered Friday. Grr.

MTB world champs was this weekend- anyone else watch the live stream?

Sam Hill would have won the downhill but did this in the last rock section:

Ratboy breaks his foot/ankle on the last jump and still gets 2nd in downhill:

I think Andrew and I are even on "wins" now. I must concede however, that he held his beer and whiskey better than I did. Several guys saw our bikes and were crestfallen that they did't know about the ride. David from Roman Maguinez's shop rode my auto shift comfort bike up to the top of corkscrew and managed to drop one of the guys on a roadbike.

E has clearly been getting some miles in. I tried to follow him up the steep spike between T6 and T7. He dropped me after I did 700w for 15 seconds and he was the one pulling into the wind, ow.

It's probably the aero-frame.

I need to find some hills so I can go to Cali and not get crushed.

smashed 32.7km/h up a 4% hill on my commute this morning, in jeans and a polo... with a hydrapack to hold my lunch on my 1985 steel vintage bike.

FEELS GOOD... riding more and more, Im getting faster... even on the hills.
that speed was good enough for 3rd on the strava segment out of ~50 people.... some of which I assume were in proper gear on a more modern road bike. 2nd place is only 1km/h off of my pace and 1st is much, much faster (~12km/h)

While perusing both of your pits, I did stop to admire Andrew's seemingly brand new Lizard Skin(maybe?) bar tape. Might have spent more time looking over the CAADs then the SuperMiatae.

Good jerseys wick sweat away from your body so it can dissipate. Shitty jerseys hold sweat against your body so it can freeze you to death. Your choice
