Time to whine about my own problem for a moment.
I'm struggling with some form of hub/freehub issue on my Powertap wheel. 1200 miles on the hub in total. I swapped a Campy-compatible freehub onto the wheel 350 miles ago. The freehub is sticking and kicking the chain forward when I am freewheeling. I did a full freehub service, cleaned all the old junk/grease out, relubed with light oil, and it spins perfectly on the stand, but as soon as I put weight on the hub, the freehub sticks again. Today, I took the Campy freehub off, put the Shimano hub back on, and put the wheel on the Kona, and it freewheels perfectly. Any words of wisdom/experience before I call and warranty the Campy freehub?

Also mic everything on both hubs and see if there is a discrepancy.

Tend to agree. It's a simple system. Never seen a bad Shimano cassette and I've worked with literally thousands, but that doesn't mean it's impossible.

Maybe check that you have all the spacers installed correctly. They only go on one way so that's hard to mess up. Just grabbing at straws.

Well, I concede defeat. It appears this is just "how it is" for a 12-25 11-speed cassette. 11-25 does not do this. We tried a few different cassettes, went through a bunch of stuff, and I'm stuck with it.

New freehub arrived from Powertap today. It looks identical to the old, but the axle spacer that came with the new hub is about .020" longer. Too wet here today to test it out, but I'm pretty confident that the longer spacer will get rid of whatever interference there was between the bearing seals and the freehub body. Interesting that it took ~300 miles for that problem to show itself.

Threw on a Reelight RL700 light set on the old steed for some "night crits" with friends. Pretty cool non-contact dynamo front and rear light setup. Heavy as **** ~400g, but cool design for commuters and townies. We'll see how long it takes me until I rip it off as I can't stand those magnets on my wheels.... Fun checking out new products though.
Still need to remove the elastomer from the cobl gobl-r.

If I'm entertaining the idea of doing a little racing next year, which scares the **** out of me. Do I need to continue preparing my soul to break my bicycle and my body? I really want to pick-up a CAAD10 and race that, but I'm not trying to spend money until the student loan is gone.

it's pretty slick. Had to do a bit of modification so it wouln't interfere with my brake caliper (shimano shouldn't have issue), as well as use a longer fixing bolt through the fork, but it worked out pretty slick.
And yes. I have 404s and 808s for my TT bike. But they're all clinchers. Sometimes It's fun to go back to tubulars. For no better reason than to just get high on glue.

I have known many freakishly strong, mentally indomitable bike racers who were scraping pennies. I was one for a while myself. Unlike motor racing, funding is not a prereq for glory.
Ride hard. A lot. Profit.

Thanks. Andrew and many others seem to think I'll have a substantial advantage (to stay alive and finish well) due to seat time in the Chump car. I don't see how race-sense can make-up for strength, but I suppose I will find out. I don't plan to do much of anything notable but do work for the two sprinter-bros in our local crew who are without team.
I've been on sprint intervals, cadence intervals, some gear restriction training the last three weeks and the newb-gains were huge.
