One of the guys in our group just picked up one of these. Gorgeous color scheme.

How many times to they have to write the brand and model on the bike? It says "Cannondale" 5x on each side, lol. I'd like to have one of those cranks.

It's so you don't forget what bike you're passing

Want. My LBS that did my Retul fit has a Guru DFU. If I win the lottery, I'm having a Photon R built based on the Guru DFU dimensions.

Kijiji buy. by Shlammed, on Flickr

Got some parts today for my old bike.

This shifter should really tighten up my shifting. Going to fit them tomorrow.

I just picked up a brand new Fuji mountain bike, since my baller new job paid for it. I'm enjoying it as much as I enjoy driving the Miata, which is down currently for head work.

I wish. My commute is about 30 miles. But even for an entry level "real" bike, there is no comparison between this and walmartcrap I've had throughout my childhood. Cables are breaking in and its already asking for adjustment though.

I was pinched into a curb by a car on the way home from Sunday 62 mile ride. Broken ulna, radius, and wrist. Surgery on Wednesday.

Jeebus. Really sorry to hear you got hit and hurt. Heal fast and strong bro.

I've had other friends hit and put into the hospital. Infuriating that the monkeys driving either get a wrist slap or leave the scene. It's a risk we all knowingly take but that never makes it easier to hear about a rider getting clipped.

Will I want to ride again? Right now I don't and I'm really anxious over it.

Thanks for the thoughts. I'm buying a CR-V later this week since my right arm will be useless and pinned in the wrist, palm up, for 6 weeks.

I'd suggest hopping on a trainer for a bit this weekend. Watch a WCP video. Het Volk or Romandie.

keeping them moving with a light load will stop you from getting stiff.

Wow, that's some serious ****. I've been down a couple of times, including a 60 MPH highside off an SV650, but never anything worse than a few ribs, a clavicle, some bones in the foot, etc. Never fucked up an arm / wrist, and certainly never anything requiring surgical pins.

Give it time, dude. And I can imagine what the rest of you looks like. I have a picture somewhere of the entire left side of my torso / hip / thigh as one giant purple bruise. No, I will not be posting it.

Thanks, Joe. Tomorrow I'm getting a Ti strap for each bone was well. Two 6" scars, one 3" scar. No gym, no bicycle, no car racing, no video games, no typing...wah.

Probably my next ride:
