its kind of reasonable to expect this thing to blow up the minute he turns the key... kind of reminds me of this:

 

i saw this thread on m.net and on here when they first stated. i kind of expected someone to tell the kid he was an idiot and that would be the end of it....this is simply amazing.

and i love this quote:

when you put it like that it really sounds like the jb weld isn't even necessary.

 

You evidently don't understand how much thought he put into it. On the intake stroke the vacuum might suck the plate off

 

oohhh i see now. that makes more sense. and I'm sure all the vacuum in that high horsepower high compression engine will probably suck the undergarments off of any unknowing ladies that happen to get too close. it's little stuff like that that really separates the men from the boys.
