ouchie. where's our timelapse movie?
they forgot 2. i got to scotts house at like 9:15, started taking the ps rack from the old car. Lar's alarm went off he left. I finished helping scott bleed his clutch, finished gettin the rack out. then left by 10:30. He was putting the exhaust on. I guess he finished it, i mean he didnt post up saying it didnt...
i got a voice mail saying it worked. money.
Yah it was a gloomy day out. Made us not wat to really go in a hurry. The exhaust shop also welded his slag joint together on his downpipe so that added a little extra time. I am glad it finally works. I can safely say I dont wana change Scotts clutch again in a long time.
yes, welded swag joint did slow us down a tad. the secret to our success was highly dependent on the ease my exhaust was to drop. All in all it was just around three hours.
It's gone 20 miles without a hitch, engagement is great. Also got my horn working and airbag light to stop flashing. success at last. now to return the fubared shit. |
Did I read correctly that you're still using the 6-puck with the HD PP?
you did. the XT PP I bought, turned out to be an HD. I made the executive decision to use it anyway with the 6-puck, because ultimately that's the clutch I was trying to make in the first place. With a PP that actually works correctly, the puck isn't bad at all.

at least your moving again, but how much tq you anticipate that combo holding?
I would guess more than the xt with an organic.
That's great that you're back on the road man. Its 8:43 here and I hope to be up and running tonight. Should be tuned and ready to race tomorrow too :)
