Weird to you, not to her.
I need some advice. Wife had the cats "chipped" (RFID) at the last vet visit. The supposed purpose of this was to make me get and install a cat door. Currently, she spoils them by getting up and feeding/letting them out in the wee hours of the morning. Well, lack of sleep has been making her wish to stop. However, the cats, being spoiled for many months will have none of this.
So, questions: Anyone have a plain old cat door? How prevalent is the unwanted guest (racoon, other cats, etc.)? Any problems with them? Do the cats actually use them?
Anyone have a magnet/collar tag operated one? Same questions as above.
Anyone have a microchip activated one? Do they work?
