I haven't owned a cat in quite a while but that's not to say I don't like them or don't have regular contact with them even though I'm more of a dog kind of guy.
Here are two of my favorite guys: the first is Tubby, and yes he is that fat. He was abandoned by his former owner but now has a happy home.
The second is Snowball. Don't let the name fool you--he's a tough outdoor cat that has survived several attacks by wild animals. Sorry about the weird photo effects...was experimenting with an app on my iPhone.

Meet Diesel. HE's an Egyptian Mau. Although I should've named him HOLY CRAP that's a big cat! That's what everyone says when they see him for the first time. He's pretty awesome. Loud though. He sings all damn day long. Mau's are known for trying to talk. FUN FACT! They're the fastest of all domesticated cat breeds. The "pooch" under their belly is not fat like most cats, but a flap of skin that lets them stretch their legs further while running.
And here are the boys together.

Mr. Peach the orange cat.
Lilah the Egytian Mau. She IS full grown, and a perfectly normal-sized cat. Peach weighs over 25lbs.

He grabs **** off the kitchen counters just by standing on his hind legs and LOOKING at what he wants to get.
When he "sits on my lap" he stretches from my neck to my knees.
I don't let him knead my stomach or chest because it's painful. (Extremely strong cat)
He'll sometimes jump on me like a dog when i'm standing. He can get his front paws about nipple height or higher. I'm not TALL, but i'm not abnormally short at 5'9".
The Mau weighs about 10-11lbs. She recently decided to eat like a horse and fill out finally. (At age 4) Very solid and compact kitty.
Peach is easily twice her size in pretty much every dimension, and over that in mass.
This is a normal-sized cat tube/perch thing much like what you have for your kitties. He doesn't really fit, but he's convinced he does.
Honestly i'm a little afraid of his life expectancy. He's healthy as a horse, and not fat, but in my experience, huge cats like this don't really last as long, and he doesn't really like wet food, so i'm forced to let him eat dry food and hope he drinks enough water. (I don't think he does.) He'll also probably have back problems later. His hind legs are pretty long so he's got a drag nasty stance, built like a Lion.
