We tried this with the little harness things like Brainy has, but poor kitty thinks she's being assaulted by a squid or something and wants none of it. Months ago I let her roam around in the house with just the harness all weekend and she was miserable.

The few times we tried putting a harness on the older one, he just lays down and refuses to move.

Here, I solved this problem by not being a noob and searching. Cat Harness - Cat Forum : Cat Discussion Forums

It's another forum like Miataturbo just with fewer cats.

My cat is too retarded to figure out how to use the thumbnail on his from paws and get hung up on everything.

I have to rescue Cloud daily from getting hung up in things. His condition prevents him from retracting his claws and he gets stuck everywhere. No leather furniture for me!

It is funny to listen to him walk across a wood floor though. I call him tikky tak instead of kitty cat.

Walk the cats? Are you insane? You open the door and let them out. When they want in, you let them in.

How are they supposed to hunt on a damned leash?

My cat has only seen the outside when it fell off the porch. Other than that it has never been outside. I tried to take it outside once.. it damn near clawed my eyes out.

Same. Ours was born in a shelter and mama never taught her how to run away from cars and things. We got her when she was 8 months old, there was a lot of adjusting.

I'm glad actually. My ex's cats were outside cats.. they have used few lives just that i know off. One time it came home nearly dead with a giant tumor like thing on its neck that went away after like 3-4 days. Not sure what happened there but yeah glad i dont have to worry about stuff like that.

a very skinny cat followed my gf and her friend home from the bar the other night. clearly the more *****, the better.
so we brought the cat upstairs and fed it.
then my other four cats figured out what was going on.
the cat we let in wanted to get back outside and actually ran into a glass window, so we let him back out.
hope that little guy's alright.

Too much work. Install a cat door then they come and go as they please. Of course, anything that will fit through the door comes in too. My attitude is that if they don't cause any trouble then wtf. Surprisingly, there's very little trouble.

Is this normal kittycat behaviour?
