Man, I remember the days when SUVs were allowed to do all kinds of cool tricks like slides, drifts, flips and even picking up the rear wheels while the fronts locked up during heavy braking. They still sold like hotcakes then, and no one thought they needed to protect us from ourselves.

I wish they would leave Toyota alone.
I wonder what would happen if Toyota just told the US. Alright, We will stop selling and producing our crap in your Country. We have made our money...

Seriously in the future they will be saying "dont buy this" when the seats dont massage your butt just right.

My old *** Isuzu Trooper II would never had been able to do that. And this is a bad thing?
He He... the news anchor on our local network stated they needed to make a car that can't go sideways for everyone's safety. I think he was the one who reportedly shows up at the clubs in his Porsche.

"When pushed to its limits on our track's handling course," Consumer Reports says, "the rear of the GX we bought slid out until the vehicle was almost sideways before the electronic stability control system was able to regain control."

That really pisses me off for some reason.

LMAO....CR even did a slow-mo replay of the drift.

My first car was a 1992 4Runner V6 automatic. I grew to hate that thing, but it had some really terrible tires and when it rained you could slide it around corners like nobody's business.

Consumer Reports is useless for anyone who actually likes automotive stuff. They might be useless in general for automotive stuff.

These are the people who will basically grade a vehicle poor when its drivelne and suspension last for 200K miles with even mimimal maitenenace but the dash plastic is prone to cracking.
