Ok, I'm sold on Talalay latex.
Thanks for the ebay link too Mgeoff. I'm pretty sure I'll buy from that guy. Not sure how he can ship it to me for free? I'm assuming it's super compacted into a small size.
Y8s, what thickness did you get? I like beds slightly firmer. Is yours foam and latex or 100% latex?

I have a knock off temporpedic Memory foam mattress from a Bobs Furniture (east coast thing... bobopedic)
It SUCKS. I got the plush one and the first mattress they delivered was ROCK HARD. I complained and they sent me another one... same model...softer...but still too hard.
I dont expect it to last. If I had money and wasnt just graduating college/starting a new job/ moving in to an apt I would have spent more $$.
I wont get memory foam again tho!
Oh and I have no issues what so ever "getting it on" in this bed, although my gf did have a VERY soft memory foam before we moved in together and it tended to "soften the blow" a little bit. lol.

I can't stand the foam ones. They are also hot - hold in body heat more - which for me is a non-starter.
Seriously, just go to a matress store and lay on a few. If you can't decide, then don't. Leave and come back later, or try another place. I can't imagine spending more than 600-700 for a queen, box spring included. If you pay more than that, you're hooked on the hype.

We have to design cushions sometimes at work for products in within the medical realm and I can assure you that the better memory foams are $$$.

Cut the latex circle jerk damnit
I will make you nice bed out of cinder block and good sheet 1/4 inch steel plate.
In college I slept on a bare piece of plywood and resultantly, developed such high levels of testosterone that hair sprouted on the soles of my feet.
Only woman need soft bed for female sexy body.
