Rx7 LSD Diff In
Customary "doughnut video" to follow on Saturday.
I only drove around the block a bit, but can feel the difference, cant wait to test it out on Saturday for my first autox of the season.
BTW, Brian, preload tested at around 190ft/lbs.

it was from a 84-85 GSL. Pulled it out, bolted on the ring gear, swapped it in, and dropped it off with a guy to set it up.
To test, I put one wheel on the ground, put a torque wrench to the axle bolt started at 40ft/lbs. untill i hit about 190 it would slip. Is that the correct way to test?

did i perform that test correctly? It definatly felt different than my vlsd in the 2 minutes i drove it. Had cold RT215s on it and swung the rear out easier than ever. Took some good corners and it gripped great.

Yeah, I would say so. One wheel locked and turn the axle nut until it breaks free and at the torque rating it does is what your preload is. Did you feel the tires skip any at low speed like pulling into a parking spot? My wife's Trailblazer SS does that when you first pull it out of the garage and the fluid is still cold.
