Haha. I'm gonna have to check the log and see who banned him. It wasn't me.

And it's a shame, as I had a response all typed up and ready to go... Ah well.

That depends? While the two of us were standing face to face, would I perceive you as a homicidally insane lunatic with a gun and/or a petite and attractive redheaded woman aged 25-35 with a master's degree or higher? If so, then no, I probably would not say any of these things to your face.

So Joe and "hornetball" please look into this class of products and report back your findings. I have provided good quality advice and input here and am pointing out some of the vapid, ignorant, immature rantings from you.
I don't really consider being aware of the source of one's data to be vapid or ignorant.

It's one thing to say "That statement is false." And nobody was doing that. It's another thing entirely to say "I question the objectivity of the source of that data, and would prefer that our members use more credible citations when discussing serious technical matters."

Say, for instance, that Philip-Morris were to state that it is healthier for you to inhale the air in Long Beach through the end of a lit Marlboro cigarette than to breathe it in directly. Without making any judgement as to the veracity of the claim, I doubt very seriously that the Journal of the American Medical Association would allow this claim to be cited in one of its articles, as the source of the claim is not impartial, and the claim is not supported by any obvious data.

So that's really all that's happening here. I'm trying to help you look less like the slacker guy in the Apple ads.

And Joe, you are a Super Moderator? Is that why this forum seems like it is run by and for 12 year olds per some that write me.
Now that's just unfair. We try very hard to project the image that this forum is run by a bunch of horny, drunken frat-boys, not a bunch of 12 year olds. (It's a fine distinction, I admit, but one which I believe is appreciated by those members of our community whose taste in immature filth is more refined than the average user.)

It is largely your fault?
Well, I like to think that I help, but it's a group effort and the whole staff deserves credit for helping to maintain our relaxed standards of morality and funny cat pictures. Oh, and also the technical stuff.

Shame on you. If you don't care to moderate, give the task to someone else.
From the color of your username just at the moment, I'd say someone else already did.

Who owns this forum?
The forum is owned by a secret cabal comprised of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, the Deputy Secretary of the Treasury Department, and the Secretaries of Agriculture, Commerce, and Department of the Interior. It is all part of a vast conspiracy to chip away at the morality and literary awareness of the American people, which you wouldn't be able to understand even if I drew you a picture.

Have you read any of the threads he is in? Why not PM a mod instead of dragging this out further.

Yes I have and they make me wonder what the reason for his ban is.

We've never used any fuel additives and none of our vehicles have ever had any real carbon build-up. I'm not sure if its just in my head or reality, but after a good flogging, the vehicle I'm driving at the time always seems to run better afterwards. Our truck sees the most change from it after pulling a heavier 20-24k pound load for extended periods.

Joe, your thoughts on the Italian tune up?

Just speculation, but I'm sure it had something to do with his direct attack towards a Mod. That would be the same thing as swinging at an officer. You just don't do it, especially when it wasn't provoked.

I usually fill up at the Stripes down here in TX and never seemed to have any issues. Don't know what "tier" it is though. After I change my oil and put a few miles on it I like to give it a good highway on ramp run through of the gears. I don't think I've ever had a set of spark plugs in for 30k though.

I have officially fixed your quote for you.
