thanks for the advice, i have checked most of the oil passages and everything seems clear except for the tubes under the pistons, i haven't checked those but i will have the machine shop do that... as i was told they will use some cleaning solvent to degrease the whole block and those kind of details...

if you don't hot-tank the motor and head, you're a double retard.

Take comfort in knowing that you'll never add anything to the engine again with out reading and understanding the directions. Right? .... right?

WHAT?! Why not? I heard pouring BBs in the oil fill is a great way to shot-peen the motor without having to disassemble it.

Wow, over 4,000 views.

I just got an email from a former co-worker who I haven't talked to in a while, who received a link to this thread from one of his American Iron buddies (he's a hardcore Chevy guy, and I must admit, his '89 Camaro is pretty hot) His exact words:
So one of the guys on our little private discussion board posted this link, that's been running around the Net... looks like you're about to become a star whether you like it or not

https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/showthread.php?t=21521

What a doof!! This twit shouldn't be allowed to TOUCH a car, let alone pour anything into it.
Truly epic...

Epic? I dunno. The guy made a mistake and geniunely wants to prevent others from doing the same thing.

Epic is dumping 20lbs of sand into your intake and coming back saying, "guys, what's wrong?"

Yes true. But the epic part is that he didn't know he fucked up at the time of posting, he found that out after the fact. I think that makes this qualify for epic thread, that and the fact it has over 4000 views in less than a week!
