Well, on the bright side we'll soon learn the one method by which a person can accidentally destroy the engine in a BMW simply by changing the wheels.

Nice work, Min. I dig it. Paying cash for a car like that is baller status too. That alone should be enough to pick up a 7 at the bar; maybe more when she sees the (eventual) dyno chart on your Miata.

If you are okay with cheap fake wheels, hard to beat the look of the LM reps. Buy them 5 at a time so that you are set if/when you bend one. Some of the reps are better quality than others, so do your homework on the BMW forum.

those look too classy. it needs to look like the average NoVA bimmer owner who never washes the car and has black wheels from brake dust.

Black on Black, 3 piece with a polished lip. That's what I did.
Completely murdered euro cars look like ---- in my opinion.

Not a coupe, but you get the idea.

The bank isn't going to just let you stop paying on the loan simply because you wrecked the car.
I never said he was off the hook. But at least if its financed he has the money in his pocket. IMHO the finance charges and interest outweighs that. Besides, if you have 35k to shell out for a car on the spot, you think those charges matter much? No. Its just poor money management. I'd rather keep 30 grand in my pocket for a rainy day while making monthly payments from that pool or spending it on something else because chances are i'll sell the car before I pay out the entire 35k to the bank.

More power to him obviously and for the record I don't like counting other peoples money, but if you flash the cash I will.

I think you're going way overboard with this whole "don't buy it cash" thing. Seriously. Its not bad at all. He has the cash, can obviously afford the car, doesn't worry about payments or throwing away extra cash in interest, etc. Itd be a different story if this was his "life savings" and he barely scraped the cash together to make this happen, but it def doesn't look like it.

That came out wrong. I didn't want to imply they wont. I wanted to imply it will take time. Never actually going through a payout process of this magnitude, I assume a total loss would take longer than a minor fender bender.

I hear you bro. I am just voicing my opinion, its his money to spend and more power to him for going out and doing it despite the naysayers. I am just saying, their are smarter ways of doing. Just because you have the cash doesn't mean you need to just drop it all in one place. That's all. Again, its his decision and his alone BUT... thats my opinion.

So once again I will say, congrats on the car faelflora and enjoy it.

liquidity > credit.

if you think otherwise, it's poor money management.

black on black with silver lips? sure, but you could more easily get a "Summer's Eve" wrap for the car and get the same effect.

And +100 what 18psi said. murdered out is played. it's so played even my non-enthusiast wife knows what it means and points and laughs.

For those unfamiliar with NOVA, a BMW is the Honda Civic of the region.

What??? Look, I just like spending my money in a care free fashion. I don't want to accidentally get in the debt hole because of the mentality of "ooh how much do I make a month? Oh I have $xxx extra! I can afford a payment on a new TV". Who the *** thinks like this??? Millions of morons that owe wayyyy more money on shi than I do. ****** retards

I like the looks a lot. Do not like $4000 a set.
