Richter (I believe) tried to sell us that at work. Same old snake oil salesman trick of the unloaded bearing spinning forever. They brought in their test pieces and we promptly put a real load on them and they were no better than DLC.

 

The coatings are quite expensive as well. But I've always wondered why they do such unrealistic "testing" to prove their products. Unloaded bearings and whatnot.
