Good call. I carried a PF9 for a year and thought it was the greatest... but I hated actually shooting it and only 99% trusted it. It was always too small for my hands and I just told myself that the comfort it allowed for thousands of days of carry would be worth the drawbacks the one time I might actually have to use it.

Then I gave up compromising.

The G19 isn't so big that the average hairy American winning machine can't carry it 99% of the time. I wear cargo shorts or jeans almost exclusively when I'm not in uniform, and any collared shirt covers it up. I print like crazy and don't care because I've discovered that there's no such thing as printing... it's something every beginning "carrier" gets told about and worries over, but I honestly don't think it exists.

There is a lot to be said for the various single-stack 9mm's with regards to size.... but with significantly less ammo, significantly more recoil, reduced grip, and a few other things, they're just not enough smaller that you shouldn't sack up and carry a G19. There are a hundred or more holster options that'll let the gun disappear wherever your preferred carry location is... one of them will be perfect for you. I'm a 3-4 o'clock kinda guy. I'm currently using the most basic nylon IWB holster with a standard metal "over the belt" type of clip. I wish the gun sat a little higher, but the next time I run across a guy with a mean sewing machine, I'm gonna fix that.

Honestly I have not fired it in over a year, so I would hardly know it is gone.

I have not started researching yet what they are going for. Lets say I have my rifle, a case, 4-6 30 round magazines a few being pmags and a few hundred rounds of ammo, and a 22LR conversion. Is it possible that I could sell it all for $1500-2000?
Well considering the average going rate on ebay for those stupid ******* magazines has broken $100.00 each, I think you're about $750 too low on your possible selling price.

Bet Pusha's wishing he hadn't destroyed so many pmags his dad bought him..

Yeah, it's everything I feel I need in a carry gun. It's reliable, accurate, and carries what I feel is an acceptable amount of ammunition. Guess I've been afraid to admit it, but I'm finally accepting that I'm a Glock guy. I shoot it better than any other pistol I've ever shot, had it for almost a decade with not a single malfunction, and parts are abundant. Putting Trijicon night sights on it Monday, so that should make me feel comfortable carrying it, having it in the nightstand, or in the glovebox.

I won't get rid of all of my pistols, but the rest will be range toys.

Thank you for your advice and your service to our country.

I looked into them myself and it doesn't seem that many people have anything good to say about them. I actually found a 6.8 SPC II upper in stock at PSA for about the same price. Now I just need to find a bolt.

Me playing with my new AR. It's a Palmetto State Armory 16" carbine, and it's awesome.

Just ordered a pistol stock for my 10/22. Anyone know a place to get large cap mags? Like all others, they are sold out.

Finding just about any high capacity magazine is next to impossible online right now. At least from my experience. Luckily I have enough to last me for quite awhile.

That article read like a 2nd grader wrote it. Not only are we dealing with the possibility of laws being past, but also with the UN Arms treaty. The biggest provision of this that will affect us is the fact that we would have to register every gun we own in a national registry. The US was the only country to reject this, because the Campaigner and Chief was working on reelection. Now that he has been, he said he wants back in it now. He has also said on multiple occasions that he wants more gun legislation as recently as Sunday and prior to the shooting.

Like I have said before, I see absolutely no reason a capacity ban won't happen. I don't think a weapons ban will.
