First Tattoo
Got it yesterday, seems to be healing well. I've been wanting to get a tattoo for about 6 years and it's been a toss up between this one and another one for the last 2-3 years. This was the final decision. I'll probably still get the other one too, just not for a while since they are a lot more expensive that I thought.
Comments welcome... my feelings aren't easily hurt, but I will fire back if you say something too out of line.
*edit* it's on my calf.

Thanks guys... I'm pleased with it. The image is actually out of the front cover of "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance". I thought it suited me well. I had the artist shade it better than in the book (the wrench is solid black in the book).

SOL, very nice. I wish I could say mine was so meaningful, but it's not. You used ink the way god intended...

Looks good Arkmage.
I've always thought the skull with the crossed pistons was cool. I can't find a good example that I like now. The cartoon skull has always look best to me. Maybe something on the forehead of the skull? I think I saw one with a round vw logo on the forehead. I don't think I want a VW logo on my body, but it looked cool.
Hrmmm ... that was a stream of consciousness.

Ummm... no. That would be the part I regret... I change loyalty to tool companies on a monthly basis. It seems like a real hit or miss or most brands. It's a shame I can't afford snap-ons line-up.

I've got a Traditional Japanese full sleeve on my left arm of a dragon. Never regretted it or the other work I have. I always wanted to get somthing car related, but never found anything I was willing to live with for any length of time.
Take good care of it, you can **** up a good (or bad) tattoo easily if you don't heal it correctly. I use the barely **** with it approach and it has worked pretty well.
