It's not really closer to anything than the resort is. It's in the middle of nowhere. I'm not sure how to describe it other than being exactly 180 degrees away from the resort on a loop.

I haven't checked my cabin number yet, but I'll likely be hanging around Fontana vendor area until leading the A&W run at 4:30. Saturday I'm meeting up with some frans for a "track & touge" gathering at noon. Wanting to avoid the cluster that will be at Fontana during the big photo. Then beer n such during the raffle!

We're staying at the Phillips in a cottage right by the fire pit. We'll have my NC, a white with black hood Rotrex'd NA, a red DET swapped B13 SE-R, and probably some others that we pick up along the way lol.

You can buy/ask about the tickets for the raffle at registration, which will be in the main vendor's area. I'm not sure how much tickets will be this year, they're typically $5 a ticket. I think this year has the most hardware available in the raffle as well.

 

Guys, please come by our tent in the vendor alley and introduce yourselves at some point. I've only met a few of you in person. Of course I'll be there, as well as our machinist Will, plus my good friends John and Jim who aren't KMiata employees but have put a ton of time and energy into the turbo NB and the NA race car projects.

We also have one of the largest cabins rented so come by to hang and grab a beer with us Friday or Saturday night. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Will either of you be at the AMP track day on 8/2? We can do rides at MATG but AMP would be the better place.

 

I'll be there, but i pulled out of my spot to run, due to more important DD issues leading me to not being sure i was even taking my car to MATG until about 11pm last night. Will be spectating. I'll bring helmet.

 

Also: When is everyone arriving? Vteckiller and i will be there Tuesday afternoon/evening. Would be cool to maybe gather everyone who is there Tuesday and/or Wednesday night to head to Tapoco Lodge for some delicious food/drinks?

 

Okay great, yes bring a helmet. The blue car is gonna be the fastest on track for sure. Because 251whp, fresh Hoosiers, and aero.

We'll be getting into town Wednesday early evening. Definitely down to hang with whoever is around.

 

Got a general ETA so we know to do what we can to look out? I don't know what time Tapoco is open until that night, i'll check later and see if there's a time that would work for at least a good chunk of people.

I'm leaving the house around 08-0900 on Wednesday. That should put me down south around 1500 depending upon how lost I get trying to find the cabin.
