I can see the north side of the mountain at lunch...... I'm ready for "vacation"...... I should have taken all week off ugh. Anxious to kick it with everybody again and excited about the track day too! Fingers crossed there's some dry time during the track-day.

Any tips for a first timer? I'll be alone, sadly. My only car enthusiast friend has to work. I live about an hour away so I'll drive up Saturday and maybe Friday.

Know where you are going before you leave. You won't be able to get data service for Google maps or any other. Offline map software only. Same for event schedule and cabin maps. Download or screenshots.

Idk. I used Mapfactor Navigator (I think that was the name) last year, which worked well enough.

Tapoco Lodge is open until 9 Sun-Thurs, so Vteckiller and I will be roaming around Fontana, maybe driving around the loop to find people, or sitting at the general store parking lot probably starting around 5 or earlier. Figure we'd want to leave by 6:45-7. Keep an eye out for a pair of really loud 2000 SEs with cute matching bronze wheels.

If it's raining: Look for a grey TRD Tacoma.

This would be wednesday night dinner.

If anyone wants to get dinner Tuesday, post up in here. We'll be shooting to get there in time to hit Tapoco or the Wildwood Grill for dinner.

Check out Knox area Roadsters (facebook) its a pretty large Miata group based in you guessed it, Knoxville. They usually have a marked ezup down by the Fontana general store parking lot every year. Tiger, Jason, and Randy are 3 of the regulars and wouldn't mind helping you out with some info.

Bring a folding chair!

Troy and I won't be arriving until Thursday evening. Look for a Montego Blue 96 with peeling clear coat and a bright blue hardtop, so sexy. After my test drive last night I'm going to say that you'll probably hear the heat shields rattling before you even see it coming, lol.

I might have some available floor space for a modest stipend, if any of you hobos have a bedroll or air mattress.

You're in Knoxville and you've never been? Did you recently move here?

What he said! What's your name and I'll add you to the group(it's set as private). We're a welcoming bunch of miata enthusiasts.

Thanks in no small part to V8Roadsters hospitality, I'll be joining up as a StopTech representative. Flying from LA into Atlanta and renting a car to drive up Wednesday night, but I've been given a loaner Miata for the weekend. Multiple offers for a loaner too, which I never expected. Looking forward to putting faces to handle names/cars.

Added to for sale stuff i can bring, but need to be notified by 8AM tomorrow morning:

Matching pair brand new Sparco Rev seats. One seat has been test fit, but never farted in. The other has a very small split underneath one of the front corners from shipping. Is not visible once installed. $800 for both.
