2018 Miatas at the gap - anyone going?
I'm game! I loved Shibby's car.
Also, y'all did it right on that smaller group drive on the Cherohala loop. I had to lead about 50 cars, in my buddy's NB2, through the loop and the only person I knew was chief, lol.
Everyone here should also plan on AMP on Thursday for next year!

Leading large groups of drivers is a science unto itself. I led a group of five cars from Chicago to Deals Gap last year. We got screwed up in Indianapolis but aside from that we stayed together the whole time.
For the record, It wasn't Indy itself that screwed us up, it was a change that was made in the moment to avoid some traffic building up and one in our group (who didn't have CB) wasn't paying attention.

Midtenn was leading a mini group back from lunch. A cop woop-wooped us on the dragon and we pulled ourselves over. The cop proceeded to laugh at us and not even step out of the car. We left.
I'm only wearing shirts with my own car and Instagram handle on it next year. You get any good tips from your cabin mates on shoot locations?
It was fully expecting to take the hit for the group.
Was mine, this was it's shakedown run so I didn't bring it out to play. And no, I didn't intentionally copy middtenn.
on the way home, the county had big mowers being towed by big tractors in clayton, ga. the mower kicked out a log, probably 14" x 3" out and it hit my nose. left a mark that may or may not buff out. other than that, i'm now peeling like a banana from too much sun. but damn, that was fun.
