I sowwy buddy... show car engine bay chassis fabrication is so much more time consuming than I thought lol. And AiM is having delays with shipping pre-ordered PDM 32 kits. I was supposed to have it like a month ago.

Is anyone going?

It looks like I'll be driving after all. Should have Blub, the shop 86 there. I'd offer ride alongs but supposedly they're prohibited. Still should be a lot of fun.

I'm going to Sears Point w/ HoD the Friday before, but am not currently signed up for Speed Ventures.

I'm not sure if I can get in unless I were to pose as your crew. Don't wannabe a poser, I will ask next week.

Nope. Car is still torn down but AiM still hasn't even shipped my PDM yet.

Not going to make it. My "rent a truck from Enterprise" approach to trailering has been derailed by CalFire taking every single pickup that Enterprise has. I can't argue with that.

Just checked the forecast and they're saying 93 and 101 as the highs in Sonoma this weekend, so perhaps it's for the best. Only 86 for my Friday HoD event.

I did ask, but they weren't sure what the "speed ventures" rules are concerning crew and such. We need to ask speed ventures.

Just tell the guys at the gate that you're there to go to Wine Country Motorsports to buy a new helmet at their sale.

I was there today for Hooked on Driving, managed a 1:50.09. SOOO close to that 49!

I often go search youtube for other peoples' videos after I get home from a track day -- did that just now and found a certain Miata going very fast at the drag strip on Wednesday!

I need a new helmet.

Glad you enjoyed the video. 1:50.09 is almost there, I kinda know the feeling.

Sorry Carlos, wasn't watching my phone real closely.

They would have let you in if you'd said you were my crew lol

Either way. Had a nice, hot day on track on Sunday. Got down to a 1:55.1 in Blub. I knew exactly what I needed to do for a low 54. Went out last session to make it happen, immediately hit the leading edge of T1 entrance kerbing and **** was borked. Ripped off half of the front lip, and the camber bolts slipped so I suddenly had like 7* of LF camber. Fun times.

Emilio didn't kill me, for that I am grateful.

Here's my best lap (1:50.09) from Friday, lots of time still in the car. Good news is I'm going back next week to try to get that 49!

Missed you, stewart!

Ian, brake a little later into T3 and you've got it you had enough time to brake, then stab the throttle before the apex, then lift again. Use that uphill for braking!

Can't wait to go back to Sonoma even though I was just there.
