G! Where should we stay? I think it was a motel 6 or maybe a super 8 or something like that. Cheap for sure...

Car seem to have fixed itself. Could a heatsoaked IAT sensor cause it to go lean and be weird? It ran great tonight. tried high boost, no issues. ????
EO2k and I spent around 12 hours working on the exo today. Not quite finished but done enough that I feel like I can head down in the morning and meet for breakfast. See you gays in a few hours!
Welcome to Monterey gays.
Other good meatup spots if no one's let the secret out yet - Turn 12, and Baja Cantina.
Turn 12 - cool motorsports themed restaurant in downtown Monterey, so named because MRLS has 11 turns (get it?).
Baja Cantina - also a cool motorsports-themed restaurant, smaller but more remote out in Carmel so hopefully not packed.
Let me know if y'all are doing a thing.

I gotta tell you, I've never seen so much wine and cheese in one place in my entire life.
Not sure we have dinner plans?
The stuff today was kinda lame, all sound and fury signifying nothing. Now my car is dirty as hell and I'm slightly sunburned.
But hey, I got to see the new ND drive by and listen to 18psi troll people IRL

I'm down for dinner and for a drive. Brake lights fixed and new fuel pump installed.
It was seriously awesome to meet all you gehs today.
Jeff - love your car, look into that shifter, I thought it felt really loose and weird. Rest of the car is AMAZE-*****. Got a half chub driving it.
Ed - with some body work, little things here and there fixed, and about 5 gallons of Purple Power or Simple Green, your car is going to be awesome.
Geoff - we are meeting again and I am getting a ride in dat exocet. nuff said
Gordon - Dem vibrations doe. car's looking good as always
Doward- good to meet ya man.
Bout to pass out. Don't remember who I missed. Really awesome to meet all you guys.
I'll try to make it back out maybe sunday, but not sure at this point.

Great to meet you guys too. Super huge bummer Jeff had to bounce tonight and won't be there tomorrow. Vlad you need to come back Sunday and chill/go for a drive or something.
Ye, my car still needs a TON of work. Which is really disheartening considering how much work I've put into it lately.
I like Gordon's car.
The record attempt was a lot more fun than I was expecting it to be. Glad I want in the end. But I kinda wish I had gone for a drive and fixed my car sooner.
Still pinging on high boost setting. F it. Low boost feels great and that's what I was going to run anyway.
Vlad has an epic DD.
Vlad's friend is extremely talented at introducing Jeff's car. Lulz.
My brakes spark under hard braking.
The park ranger kicked us out of the road at the main entrance of MRLS.
I think that's all.

I know, its to the point where its embarrassing. I think I finally figure out what the big rattle is under the front of the car, other than the hood. And thanks! If you found yesterday to be mildly interesting, you will be blown away by Saturday/SUnday
The man is an animal. I was hoping to get a ride in his car and let him drive mine, so we can make him spend more money on a shifter
^ This. Bring a helmet along and just ask people for rides.
Believe it or not, your car looks great everywhere other than that fender. Remember that when its your project, you know where all the mistakes and ugly spots are, the rest of us are totally distracted by all the win and awesome everywhere else. The car looks like you actually drive it, and that definitely counts for something. It's physically impossible to park next to Jeff and Vlad and not feel like you drive a shitbox, its all a matter of perspective.
Thanks! I never got to open the hood either, not that its that impressive. It'll be more fun with the turbo
I think I've decided ***** mounts gotta go doe.
This part was way more fun that I could have possibly imagined.
I too had a great time and it was great meeting everyone. I'll be back at the track probably early afternoon today to poke around and get a feeling for the flow of things for my run group on Sunday. As soon as I get my brakes done and oil changed anyway.

If any of you got one of the grey polos, you likely met me. I'll be there again tomorrow, wearing the highlighter yellow staff shirt, working in between trolling for rides.
If you can manage to score a ride with Andrew, definitely go for it. Dude has ***** of steel.
